I work with a Co-Op of individual people pooling their money to fund
credible loans on an unsecured, fixed rate, 3 year term basis. We do
this to earn much better than a Certificate of Deposit pays for
ourselves. What does this mean to a borrower ?
There are enough of us that we'll fight and bid down the interest rate
on a loan to get a piece of it
if, IF
they have a decent credit rating and a believable proposal.
Some loans get funded with a mid-single digit interest rate ! No
tricky fine print, either.
